Vía Crucis submarine and other activities to enjoy in Puerto Madryn during Easter vacation.

Friday, April 19th, at 5:30pm, the only Via Crucis in the world will begin and it has three submarine stations. Various priests, scuba tours, professional divers, swimmers, kayakers, sailors and people at the pier participate in this celebration that now in its 16th year and illuminates the sea and coast when the sun goes down.

In addition to this unique event, over the long weekend, there will be an artisanal fish market that will open with a huge paella and offer tastes of seafood and shellfish, and there will be music. Also the XII Whale Cup, a nautical event that involves athletes from the whole continent.

These four days in April are perfect to walk along the penguin colonies in Punta Tombo and Peninsula Valdes which has 200,000 couples as well as babies; also you will can see different species of dolphins, which will end after the summer and attend the end of orca season in the Punta North Reserve and Caleta Valdes, where they come on shore of the beach to eat.

Other activities in Madryn include snorkeling with sea lions in Punta Loma and scuba diving along the natural reef, artificial parks, and sunken ships.
